ZenMail

  • Amit Patil

ZenMail provides a multi-tenant email template system with render endpoints and a worker-based dispatch/cron pipeline, so engineers can create, preview, and send reliable emails with fewer regressions.

Idea

A key challenge is aligning non-technical stakeholders (marketing/ops) and engineers on email content templates & approvals.

How to use

Key flows 1. Create a SES Credentials 2. Create Template 3 Create a JOB FOR developers Install deps: pnpm install (or npm install, whichever your repo uses) Configure env: copy .env.example → .env.local and fill required keys Run dev: pnpm dev Open app: http://localhost:3000

Notes & next steps

Future plans: template versioning + rollback, richer preview/test harness, provider abstraction (SES/SendGrid/etc.), improved tenant template library, observability for job retries/failures. Known limitations: limited UI polish in some areas; deployment config depends on environment secrets; screenshots/video pending if not yet captured.

This is a Next.js project bootstrapped with create-next-app.

Getting Started

First, run the development server:

npm run dev
# or
yarn dev
# or
pnpm dev
# or
bun dev

Open http://localhost:3000 with your browser to see the result.

You can start editing the page by modifying app/page.tsx. The page auto-updates as you edit the file.

This project uses next/font to automatically optimize and load Geist, a new font family for Vercel.
